Chapter 180: Change of Heart
*Ronan is paying a visit to “The Sweet Shoppe”*
Kiki: Oh…Ronan…it’s good to see you.
Ronan: Your store…it looks different…
Kiki: *smiles* Yes, I expanded it. What do you think?
Ronan: *approvingly* Very nice.
Kiki: Is there wedding business we need to discuss?
Ronan: No…no…I came to see you.
Kiki: *surprised* Oh?
Ronan: I am wondering…when you close your store for the day…would you spend some time with me?
Kiki: *even more surprised*
Ronan: I did not have the opportunity to show you around the house the last time you visited, perhaps I can show you around now…if you are interested.
Kiki: *not sure what to think* That sounds nice.
Ronan: *smile*
Kiki: I’m about to close now…uh…if you don’t mind, I’ll just step into the back and change my clothes and then we can go.
Ronan: Miss Kiki, you look fine the way you are dressed right now.
Kiki: *blush* Thank you…but I only wear this dress when I’m working. It will only take a minute.
Ronan: I do not mind waiting.
Kiki: I’ll be right back.
*Kiki is in the back of her store where Ronan can’t see her*
Kiki: I…I thought he didn’t care about me…I thought he was avoiding me and now he’s asking me out? This is so unexpected, I don’t know what to think…I’m so nervous…I want to make a good impression…
*Kiki has changed and come back out where Ronan is waiting for her*
Kiki: I’m ready, we can go now.
Ronan: *stares*
Kiki: *squirms under his gaze, but says nothing*
Ronan: Miss Kiki…you look beautiful!
Kiki: *deep blush* Thank you.
Ronan: Shall we go?
Kiki: Yes. *still very nervous, but also happy Ronan wants to spend time with her*
Elsewhere…
*Sebastian has just told Melodie about ending his relationship with Paige*
Melodie: Oh…Sebastian…I’m so sorry!
Sebastian: *sigh* Maybe I should not have done that…but I did not know what else to do.
Melodie: Paige is acting just like our mother…I know Paige does not like the comparison, but it’s true! Our mother always ended up driving the men in her life away.
Sebastian: I thought she loved me…I thought she would fight harder to make me stay. I did not expect her to let me go so easily. The disappointment is so painful…
Melodie: Why did you tell her you would take her back?
Sebastian: Because I do want her back.
Melodie: Please forgive me for saying so, but by saying that you are only continuing to allow her to manipulate you. I can’t stand seeing her cause you pain.
Sebastian: What else can I do? I still love her…
Melodie: I do not know if she has stopped loving you or not, but she should not treat you this way. You deserve so much better. Do yourself a favor and find a lady who can appreciate you.
Sebastian: Maybe you are right…but there is no other lady, there is only Paige.

So Ronan is taking Sebastian's advice and spending some non-working time with Kiki to see if he can decide how he feels about her. We'll see how it goes for them in the next chapter. :D
Sorry again that I don't have any additional photos to share with this post today...it's busy and I have things to do...but I did get a new re-ment display case which just arrived yesterday that I added to Kiki's store and you can see it in the first part of the story photos in this chapter. It's really neat, I'm starting to love re-ment and the display case is super cool!
