Chapter 183: I Do
*Roxanne and Wolfgang are reading together…but Roxanne is distracted*
Wolfgang: Are you okay?
Roxanne: Hmm?
Wolfgang: You haven’t turned a page in your book for half an hour…
Roxanne: Well, I’ve just been thinking about Shiloh and Hawk and something is bothering me.
Wolfgang: Oh?
Roxanne: They went on vacation together.
Wolfgang: Sounds like fun.
Roxanne: Yes, but it was so sudden. Shiloh seemed very distracted before they left…and…her ring…
Wolfgang: Ring?
Roxanne: She was wearing a ring I’d never seen before and I only just realized it was on the ring finger of her left hand.
Wolfgang: So?
Roxanne: Wolfgang… *she holds up her ring finger to make her point*
Wolfgang: Oh…oh!
Roxanne: See what I mean?
Wolfgang: Do you think they are engaged?
Roxanne: I’m actually a little worried they have gone on “vacation” to get married.
Wolfgang: What? That’s crazy!
Roxanne: Yes…it’s crazy…but they are always doing crazy things…so would it really surprise you? I’ve been thinking about it and I can’t say I’d be surprised if I’m right…but I’m still worried…
Wolfgang: It’s kind of sudden.
Roxanne: Yes, I’m not sure it would be the best idea.
Wolfgang: Why not? They really seem to be in love.
Roxanne: Yes, but it’s so fast.
Wolfgang: Well, they have to do things their own way…and you know, we weren’t dating that long before I asked you to marry me.
Roxanne: I hadn’t thought of that…
Wolfgang: I know you are worried, it’s because you care about them so much. But they are adults. You have to trust they can make their own decisions. If they do get married, I’ll be happy for them. Don’t you think you will be, too?
Roxanne: I’ll try…but I’m probably just imagining things anyway…
Meanwhile…
Voice: Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?
Hawk: I do!
Voice: Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?
Shiloh: *smile* I do.
Voice: …I now pronounce you husband and wife…
Voice: You may now kiss the…oh, you already know that part…carry on!

Oh, and no...Hawk could not take off his goggles to get married, that's just him. Plus, of course he had to wear his good luck charms, it's his wedding day after all. :P
Roxanne is smart. More on what happens when Hawk and Shiloh get home after they get back from their honeymoon.

Hawk and Shiloh's wedding rings. Shiloh's is a jewel I glued on her finger. Hawk's is a wire I twisted twice around his finger after poking a few holes in his hand.
I took wedding photos, of course! Take a look:
Since they eloped, they did not have any fancy wedding clothes, just stuff that they already had on hand that would work well in a pinch. Regardless, I just love how they look! Hawk's look especially came off really well for him. It's more formal but still...him. I don't know why but I'm glad his tie is green. :P
I wanted to make Shiloh a veil but I couldn't find any appropriate material that would look good so I just skipped it. I think she looks lovely anyway. :D
One more...they are very in love and happy... <3
