Chapter 189: Break the News
Shiloh: Did I tell you how much I enjoyed our honeymoon?
Hawk: About a hundred times…but you can tell me again.
Shiloh: It was wonderful. But…it’s good to be home, too.
Hawk: Yeah, we have to get on with real life sometime, right?
Shiloh: *sigh* Speaking of real life…I suppose we need to break the news…
Hawk: Hey, don’t worry so much. Our friends will understand.
Shiloh: I hope so.
Hawk: Start with Roxanne. She’s a good friend and not likely to freak out.
Shiloh: I hope not… *cringes*
Hawk: *squeezes her hand* I’ll go with you. It will be fine, I promise. If you don’t regret anything you have no apologies to make.
Shiloh: I have no regrets. Marrying you is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Hawk: I’m glad to hear it. Now…let’s find Roxanne.
A Little While Later…
*Shiloh and Hawk fine Roxanne*
Shiloh: Roxanne?
Roxanne: Oh, you got home! I hope you had fun.
Shiloh: *can’t help but smile widely* Yes! We had the best time, it was really wonderful.
*Shiloh sits up appears very nervous*
Shiloh: …
Roxanne: ???
Hawk: *clears throat*
Roxanne: Shiloh, is something wrong?
Shiloh: No…I just have something to tell you and I’m not sure how.
Roxanne: It’s nothing bad I hope.
Shiloh: No, it’s not bad…I’m just not sure how you are going to react. Please, don’t freak out, okay?
Roxanne: Okay…
Shiloh: While Hawk and I were on vacation we…well we…got married.
Roxanne: You did not!
Shiloh: Yes, we did. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you before we left…but I just wanted to get married, no questions asked.
Roxanne: That’s…crazy!
Shiloh: *laughs* I know! But I love Hawk.
Roxanne: *sigh* I admit…I kind of suspected you might run off and do something rash like that…but I convinced myself that I had an overactive imagination. Why didn’t you tell me?
Shiloh: Well, you are getting married and putting so much effort into planning and I didn’t want to distract from that. You deserve all the attention of being a bride-to-be, I would have felt like I was stealing that away.
Roxanne: Don’t be silly.
Shiloh: And…honestly…I knew you’d try to talk me out of it and I didn’t want to have to defend my decision.
Roxanne: *sigh* I suppose I can understand that. *teases* But I still think you are both nuts.
Hawk: *laughs* It works for us.
Roxanne: *nods* Yes, it’s not how I would do it but that doesn’t make it wrong. I’m happy for you…really!
Shiloh: Thanks, Roxanne! You have no idea how glad I am to hear you say that.
Hawk: Yeah, thanks. Poor Shiloh was really worried.
Roxanne: Aw, you know I love you guys…crazy and all. Are you going to have a reception or anything?
Shiloh: Oh…I don’t know. I’m not that great at planning stuff like that…
Roxanne: Then let me…as a wedding gift for you. You should celebrate with your friends.
Shiloh: Oh, Roxanne, you don’t have to do that. You are already planning your own wedding, isn’t that enough for you to do already?
Roxanne: Maybe…but I can be crazy, too…in my own way. Besides, I have connections so I’ll have a lot of help. What do you say?
*Shiloh hugs Roxanne*
Shiloh: It sounds wonderful, thank you so much!
Roxanne: *smiles* My pleasure.

Roxanne really does think they are totally crazy, but she's trying to take Wolfgang's advice and be happy for them. I think she will come around once she realizes how happy they are.
I was messing around with Ainsley again today:
I worked on her legs to help them stay straighter (they keep bending when I don't want them to) so now she stands better on her own without me having to put her just so.
She's wearing her "elf" outfit again (or that's just what I call it). :P
Cute, yes?
I took her little hair ties out so I could play with her hair and style it more. However, it left a few kinks behind as you can see. It's still cute and I hope the kinks soften out over time.
Here, I pulled her hair back into a little clip in the back. I love this style for her...and I was just messing around. :P
One more, this one and the one above are my favorites. Ainsley is still sitting right here by me now...she's my little computer pal! :D
I ordered the wig for my Pury head from Sleeping Elf, it's a Tibetan Wool wig in pale pink with different colored ends. I can't wait for the head and the wig to get here to see how they go together. :D I'm also waiting for my printed copy of Adore...hopefully that will be here soon, too!
