Chapter 209: Results
Melodie: Paige! There you are, where have you…oh, what’s the matter?
Paige: *sigh* I talked to Sebastian…
Melodie: Hmmm…I guess it didn’t go well?
Paige: Not as well as I hoped…but I know he still loves me.
Melodie: Maybe he does. Do you really expect he’d just forget about you that fast?
Paige: But he did!
Melodie: You only think that because he didn’t sit around wasting his time by waiting for you.
Paige: You don’t understand!
Melodie: Neither do you…and I hate seeing you this way. You are so much more then this. Why don’t you just leave him alone and let him be happy?
Paige: What about my happiness?
Melodie: You’ll find that by thinking of someone other than yourself.
Melodie: Won’t you help me with the little ones? I really need you!
Paige: I am helping…I have a few ideas. In fact, I have an idea that might help you and me…
Melodie: What do you mean?
Paige: Never mind that now…just give me some time because I have an idea for the little ones…
Later That Night…
*Ivy and Felix are walking home after spending the night at the club*
Felix: Please tell me you had at least a little fun.
Ivy: Okay, it was fun…but I’m so tired!
Felix: I know, it’s a long night.
Felix: So…how many numbers did you get?
Ivy: *blush* Well…
Felix: Come on, I know you got at least some…tell me and be honest.
Ivy: I don’t know how many I got; I just stuck them in my pocket.
Felix: Well, get them out and we’ll count them together.
Ivy: Now?
Felix: Yes, now! It would be unfortunate if you accidentally lost some of them by tomorrow.
Ivy: Fine. *she pulls the numbers out of her pocket* Here, you take them and count them yourself.
Felix: Is that all of them?
Ivy: Stop teasing and just count, I swear I’ve given you all of them.
Felix: One…two…three…four, five, six…seven…eight…nine…
Felix: TEN! Oh…eleven and twelve. A perfect dozen! I knew you’d get a lot of attention…and I win!
Ivy: …
Felix: Hey, what’s the matter now?
Ivy: Are you really going to make me call one of those guys?
Felix: *smiles* Yes, that was the deal…don’t try to back out now.
Ivy: But you always said the guys at the club are losers.
Felix: *laughs* For the most part they are, but you might get lucky. And you know…I would never let anything bad happen to you, I promise.
Ivy: As long as you promise that then I’ll do it…but I don’t know which one.
Felix: Here, take these and you can decide tomorrow after you’ve thought about it a little and slept on it. *he hands the numbers back*
Ivy: Thanks, Felix…I did have fun.
Felix: I’m glad. Good night, Ivy…I’ll see you tomorrow.

My stupid back is acting up again. I was feeling a ton better, not perfect, but better. Anyway, I got up this morning feeling quite well...I stretched like most people do when they get up in the morning and this set off a muscle spasm in my back. It's still not as bad as it was and the chiro assured me today that this is normal and expected so I hope she is right. I did feel better after my treatments. :D Anyway, I'm going to that BJD meet tomorrow so I hope it feels a bit better by then, it's getting tiresome. :\
