Chapter 210: Pay Up
Felix: Hey, Ivy!
Ivy: Hi.
Felix: Are you feeling better?
Ivy: *yawn* Still tired, but it will pass.
Felix: So…
Ivy: What?
Felix: Have you decided who you are going to call?
Ivy: You’re really going to make me do this?
Felix: Yes.
Ivy: I’ve been thinking…
Felix: Hmm? About what?
Ivy: At the club last night…I didn’t notice before, but it dawned on me this morning that there were definitely more guys at that club then girls.
Felix: Oh…were there? *trying to look innocent*
Ivy: You tricked me!
Felix: *laughs* Maybe…a little…
Ivy: You knew you would win.
Felix: Why else would I enter the bet? And yes…more guys tend to show up at the club on a regular basis then girls, I knew the odds were in my favor.
Ivy: Hmph.
Felix: Come on, don’t be mad. You said you had fun, that’s all I wanted.
Ivy: *grudgingly* It was fun.
Felix: And now it’s time to pay up…who are you going to call?
Ivy: It was hard to pick…well, and sort of easy, in a way.
Felix: What do you mean?
Ivy: Well, about eight of those numbers I could throw away without a second thought…creeps.
Felix: *laughs*
Ivy: That only left four and two of them I couldn’t even remember.
Felix: It all does kind of blend together after a while.
Ivy: In the end I chose this one. *holds up the number*
Felix: Why? I’m just curious.
Ivy: Of all the choices I found him the least objectionable.
Felix: *laughs* That’s not saying much.
Ivy: *smiles* No…but he was nice enough…a little arrogant, but nice. And he was…kind of cute, too. *blush*
Felix: You know what to do…just do it!
*Ivy, extremely nervous, takes out her phone and dials the number*
Phone: …ring….ring…ring…
Zander: Hello?
