Tutorial, Yellow Glow

This one wasn't requested but hey, I just kinda like it. :) Hope it helps someone out.

Going from this:
to this:


Copy and paste the image onto a 100x100px
Position as desired.
Sharpen (use Shift+Ctrl+F to adjust as needed).


STEP 1.
Adjustments, Levels...
16, 1.82, 180
Flatten. This is your base layer.


STEP 2.
On your base layer - Image, Adjustments, Variations...
more yellow, more red, more yellow, lighter.


STEP 3.
Add 2 new layers, fill both with #000E38 and set both to exclusion 100%.


STEP 4.
Add a new layer, fill with #FFD200 and set to multiply 35%.

STEP 5.
Duplicate the base layer , move it on top. Set to soft light 51%.


I then added the text "looking for hard candy" in the font 'Rage Italic' text and placed it on a #E25A00 box layer. Finally I linked those two layers and rotated them.
