My First Cauldron! Locked to Tonks and members of Leela's household.

*Tom wants to be a good host, so when he knows Tonks is coming over, he very carefully pours glasses of milk for her, him, and Leela, and puts cookies on a plate. He manages to bring it upstairs without spilling, but it takes three trips. He has put most of his toys away carefully in his room, but the flashcards and the cauldron set are spread ( Read more... )

Leela peeks in, and smiles at him. "Hey kiddo, need anything else?" She moves further into the room. "Tonks should be here soon." Her own present for tom to give Tonks is in a small box that she puts up on the shelf so she won't forget it.

Knock. Knock. Knock. Knock. That would be Tonks knocking on the door to Leela's house. With her she is carrying a knapsack. Inside the knapsack are a few things Tonks has brought over to for Tom's first potion lesson, a few goodies and a small blue teddy bear.

When Tom opens the door, Tonks greets him with a big grin on her face. "Wotcher Tom!"

"You do? Oh boy!" Tonks bends down and blows a raspberry against Tom's cheek. "She does? I got your drawing. I put it right up on my ice box. It's lovely." Tonks makes her way inside along with Tom, "Where is your Mum?"

"Up here, Tonks! And hey, welcome to the house!" Leela leans over the banister, waving and smiling. She catches herself before she slides down the banister though. So not dignified. But - she wants to.

She takes a few steps down the stairs instead.

*Thorn hears voices, and loiters in the hall. He seems almost shy now, still overwhelmed with lingering shock over the pile of gifts he recieved for Christmas. He is also slightly embarrassed that what little he had to give people seems to pale in comparison. He is at least wearing some of the new clothes, which makes him awkward as well. The absence of his usual bells leaves him feeling out of sorts, as well as rendering him eerily silent when he moves through the house. He lingers in the half-open doorway, watching.*

*Tom waves when he sees him.* You can come in. I haven't drank out of my milk glass yet, if you want it. Tonks is going to teach me potions! *The snake carving is sitting peacefully on Tom's nightstand.*

"Oh... um... 's orright. I could... get me own. Din't want to intrude, just 'eard voices and all..." *He is feeling very conspicous in these new clothes. He is also utterly terrified of getting them dirty, a thing he never worried over when he was dressed in rags.*

Leela waves him in. "Come on in Thorn, having a party in here." She holds up a plate with some cookies. "I'm just watching Tom and Tonks do some cool stuff with the cauldron. Or at least I will. Wanna join me?" She stands up and pushes the chair away, then sits on the floor not far from where Tom is sitting.
