i am alive. I have just had a really hard to months. I think i am going to come out of my cave soon to see the light. It is amazing how in ministry you can just feel broken all of the time.
i felt broken as the son of a pastor, so i can imagine...
make time for yourself and remember that church isn't your life... to a large extent you need to view it as a job, where it comes after your family and life...
i think that the biggest burnout point for pastors is the lack of being able to split their lives from their job... and i think it is most definitely needed (at least to some extent)...
remember you, as a person, are not defined simply by what you do for a living...
