Busy busy....
I really want to update my LJ more often, so here goes...
A couple days ago I realised that this term, for some reason, is going to be even more hellishly busy than last term was. I somehow managed to agree to participating in so many projects that basically I have 4 different things coming up within 3 weeks in June, and May doesn't look much better either. I'll be truly free only past the 5th of July, from the looks of it orz.
Plus, I signed up for driving school, so that's gonna be an aditional strain. Well, "strain" - I really look forward to learning how to drive! Been to 2 theory lessons so far (12 are compulsory), so I think I'll soon have my first driving lesson too.
Another thing I'm trying to organise right now is to go back up to Manchester - I contacted a tutor at RNCM, and he replied very promptly and said it was totally ok for me to come and listen to some of his lessons, and to play for him as well. The only problem is, as mentioned above... uni commitments. He gave me 3 dates, and none of them work for me because of uni shit and the fact that I'm doing a concert in Austria on the 16th. *sigh* I'm currently in the process of replying to him - there's only 2 weeks in the entirety of the next 2.5 months during which I might be able to travel up to Manc. I hope this works out...
Added to all this, I feel unsatisfied with my art. Style, skills (facial angles, srsly).... It's gotten to a point where I don't want to draw fanart and such because I feel I won't like it anyway. So I've shifted my attention to actual practising, and am now doing a lot of tutorials, which is proving to be very fun. <3 It also boosts my confidence a lot, since I know I'm doing something to actively improve my skills. Hurray!
So uhm, hm. Yeah. Not much else to say really... Just a quick note on fanfic - I'll try to get stuff done, promise. Writing fic is relaxing for me, so. <3
And lastly: Due to all the busy busy things mentioned above, I probably won't be on yahoo a lot during the next weeks, if not months. I'm too tired in the evenings to go on big socialising sprees, sadly;;;;;;;; Sorry everyone ; n; If you need anything, you can contact me on LJ via PM, or on tumblr, or via email, or via kik for those of you who have smartphones.... And I want to keep LJ updated anyway. So no worries I'm dropping off the face of the earth entirely. Love you too much for that. <3
