It's weird, over the time I was on the island I talked to a lot of people back home who complained that they wanted to hang out with me. I've been back almost a month and I've seen a very small number of people. And another thing is that there are a bunch of people I have seen but only briefly and/or once since I got back. I know what you're talkin' about... People miss you when you're gone but seem to forget missing you once you've returned to the area. Even if they don't see/hang out with you, they feel better knowing you're home. Kind of interesting to think about...

I've learned to not take it too personally when I go to the island (different than your island) over the summers and am away from friends who say they want to hang out but then don't when I'm back. Gee, hope that makes sense.

Don't worry about it, Grizzly. School and work are hard to get around for people, especially since this is the graduation year for most of us. We still love you, but we don't have social lives to speak of anyway.

I promise we'll hang out soon, and since the end of the term is coming up I'll have more time before going to Bellevue to play. Do you still need a haircut?
