the first lines were pretty much copypasted from the movie and I didn't want to sit through a film retelling

HEE. I had such issues with trying desperately not to do that - I even begged a friend to read it over halfway through (at about 8k or so) and said TELL ME IF IT'S REALLY REALLY BORING. I'm so glad that it doesn't read like that - that was my main nervous point, especially with it being a looong oneshot.

*GIGGLES* YAY! I admit I put that in there because I love lame puns in a way that's just not healthy *shuffly feet* and it made me happy in a really lame way, but someone else approves!

You pulled it off wonderfully. There were just so many gorgeous details that the movie never would have gone into, and the shoes, and ksflkdjf. But the best part was that Arthur was the scientist instead of some random crazy dude, because DUDE. He so would. And like, their house, and Uther not wanting Arthur to be gay, and sdklfjdfff. (Keysmashing is my adjective for everything.)

I LOVE LAME PUNS TOO! So maybe I'm not the best person to ask but man. There have been periods of my life where I have lived off nothing but crackers and bad puns. YOU'VE SEALED MY HEART.

I'm just going to imagine that sometime they go to India or Thailand or whatever and Merlin learns magical Buddhist-monk heart-control-powers. And then they have lots of happy sex. Ugh.

Thanks- I love giving characters idiosyncrasies. OMG, the shoes. I wondered if having them have a silent, never-acknowledged Cons vs. Vans war was taking the emo too far, but then I couldn't bear to take it out and could summon *actual* reasons for Merlin to be obsessed with Cons, lol. I AM WEAK. (HEE. Ditto. Depending on the day of the week I combine it with capslock, which is sick of my abuse, I expect.)

Oh, that was awesome. I've never watched anything The Hulk-related and I only know the very basics but this was amazing.
