I found it to be WAY better than Ang Lee's swing at the franchise; it was how a Hulk movie should be. This is speaking as someone who doesn't give a shit about the Hulk in comics. :) The RDJ cameo at the end was worth bonus points.

Oh my gosh that was so brilliant I can't even say! Your story left me grinning idiotically because seriously, geek-smart-scientist!Arthur is just so amazing. I also took extreme glee in the fact that Merlin left Arthur hanging because Arthur just gets him so excited oh gosh, WHAT. I loved everything to pieces--interaction, dialogue, the little glimpses of past-domestic-bliss, EVERYTHING. Just, guh, this made me very happy. *flail* ♥ ♥

I love that you loved this! This was one of my absolute favourite things to write. My beta/hand holder/cheerleader/sanity, hariboo-smirks, had to constantly tell me 'No, you do not *need* a whole other 19k of prequel about them at uni together. No, you do not *need* to write the karaoke.' But I was SO TEMPTED.

OMG, so much love! I love how it's so tightly written, and I love the atmosphere of it - it's simultaneously dark and deeply funny, and the characterisations are just brilliant. I laughed so many times, sat on the edge of my seat, and felt my heart break for them. Oh, and how I love the relationship between Arthur and Uther, so broken - the moment Arthur walked out of their house, facing Uther, made me feel for them, both of them, especially. And you managed to translate the feeling of Arthur and Merlin having to be together, because they've become two halves of a whole, so well without it becoming sappy - it's the kind of thing that makes my heart swell and be so happy for them. (Also, the only gay in the village, ahahaha!)
