New LJ?

I am considering starting a new journal.

I don't write very much but I'd like to get back in the habit. With my trip to the Holy Lands, grad school, and possibly the Peace Corps coming up in the next few years...I feel like maybe I should start documenting my life a bit more.

Would anyone add a new LJ from me?

I would! You could also consider something like Wordpress, where you can basically create a webpage. I've got one that I update most of the time: http://kristawilbur.wordpress.com if you want to check it out!

What is the benefit of wordpress? I can't decide if I want to figure out how to use an entirely new journaling site.

I think it's pretty easy to customize wordpress, a lot easier than LJ. (Actually... I don't even know if you can edit LJ the way you can with WP.) For instance, I have my main blog page, and then I've got other pages there as well, for various things -- books I've read, quotes I like, an about me section, etc. I don't know, I've just found it to be more more visually appealing than LJ.

But regardless, I'd add you new LJ to my friend's list on here if that's what you decided doing! :)
