I haven't seen you at the Flame for awhile; welcome back! This was a good return with a nice scene of dialogue. Dialogue is tough to write,so it is good to see you tackling it! Nicely done.

Thank you! I'm a bit surprised how easy I find writing dialogues nowadays. And sorry for my late reply, life has been pretty busy lately.

I'm afraid that kind of friend does seem to be quite common. I'm glad you liked the story!
My exam went much better than expected, but I've still been quite busy with university, thus the late reply, sorry!

I hate to admit it, but I kind of like it when she's evil too. :)

I enjoyed this approach to the prompt. Usually it's with the point of view of the person receiving the bad advice, never the approach of the giver. Well done!

I'm glad my approach of looking at the person giving bad advice worked for you! Sorry my reply is so late....

I had a friend like Ann for a number of years. They eventually, slowly, grew into someone who seldom needs my advice anymore and when they do ask, it's more often to confirm the tough path is (probably) the right one.

I liked this piece. I don't think it was over-long at all and I found it very believable. The dialogue was crisp and well written. Keep up the good work. :-)

I'm glad you liked it! And it's good to know that friends like Ann can eventually become more mature. ;-)
Sorry for the late reply, I've just been really busy!
