I find that the characters always have each others backs, they see the good and focus on that.

Exactly. Especially since where most shows tend to always go in the direction of having personal conflict come between characters (whether it's issues with romantic relationships or friendship backstabbing or any other kind of drama like that), Sense8 instead focused on the more positive parts that aren't always highlighted, and that was refreshing to see. They always had each other's backs, they never questioned whether someone needed help or moral support during their toughest times. Even if there was a moment where a character screwed up, Sense8 shows them actually communicating this, showing concern and wanting to help. It demonstrated that you can have a healthy relationship between characters instead of resorting to unnecessary drama. The aspect of acceptance and love, of understanding and equality, is the biggest draws of the show.

That, and I love found families and Sense8 was the very definition of that trope. :)

Yes! I loved that the focus was on the positive parts, despite it all it's always optimistic, human connection is the center of it.

I love the found families trope too, it's always a draw for me. 😊

Sense8 is amazing!

Jane the Virgin is a great show, it's funny, entertaining and despite the telenovela setting it's realistic, and you can't help but root for Jane 😊

I'm not overly familair with either show but i have heard good things about them both. And yes, representation is needed in all forms of media! Shows with great cast chemistry are so easy to get into.

Oh, both shows are great, I always recommend them. It's a shame Netflix cancelled Sense8 😐 Yes, representation is so important! That's why Sense8 and Jane the Virgin make me happy, they're diverse and optimistic. Definitely, the casts of both shows are fantastic ;)
