Exactly. Especially since where most shows tend to always go in the direction of having personal conflict come between characters (whether it's issues with romantic relationships or friendship backstabbing or any other kind of drama like that), Sense8 instead focused on the more positive parts that aren't always highlighted, and that was refreshing to see. They always had each other's backs, they never questioned whether someone needed help or moral support during their toughest times. Even if there was a moment where a character screwed up, Sense8 shows them actually communicating this, showing concern and wanting to help. It demonstrated that you can have a healthy relationship between characters instead of resorting to unnecessary drama. The aspect of acceptance and love, of understanding and equality, is the biggest draws of the show.
That, and I love found families and Sense8 was the very definition of that trope. :)

I love the found families trope too, it's always a draw for me. 😊

I don't watch Jane the Virgin, but I've heard good things about it.

Jane the Virgin is a great show, it's funny, entertaining and despite the telenovela setting it's realistic, and you can't help but root for Jane 😊
