Gideon: I finished up this new song, mind taking a look at it?
Felix: Sure. We can even do a run through if you want.
Gideon: Here?
Felix: No one is around.
Gideon: Well…okay. I would like to see how it sounds.
Felix: I like these lyrics.
Gideon: Thanks.
Felix: Ready?
Gideon: Let’s get this over with before someone walks by.
*Felix laughs*
*Ivy is walking home from work*
Ivy: *stops* What is that noise? It sounds like music…
*Ivy peeks around the corner…*
Ivy: It’s Gideon singing…I shouldn’t listen, I know how much he hates that…but this song is nice. Maybe if he doesn’t see me…
*Ivy peeks again*
Gideon: *singing* How can I tell you what’s inside my heart? If I wait any longer I risk falling apart. When I’m with you your pool of green swallows me whole, like seeing an eternity of love and peace for my soul…
*Gideon suddenly stops singing*
Felix: Is something wrong?
Gideon: No…
Ivy: *gasp* Oh no…
Gideon: Hang on for a minute. I’ll be right back.
Felix: Huh?
Gideon: Ivy, wait up!
Ivy: *embarrassed* I’m sorry, Gideon. I didn’t mean to eavesdrop!
Gideon: What? No…I don’t care about that. I just…wanted to see you…and…what did you think of my song? It’s new…
Ivy: It sounded really nice. I was walking nearby and heard you…I couldn’t help it. *blush*
Gideon: I don’t mind. I’m glad you heard it. The song…it was about you.
Ivy: It was?
Gideon: Yeah.
Ivy: Well…the green part…my hair.
Gideon: I wasn’t thinking about your hair...more about your eyes.
Gideon: Have dinner with me. Please?
Ivy: Um…okay…when?
Gideon: Right now.
Ivy: Now?
Gideon: Yes.
Felix: What is Gideon doing and what’s taking him so long?
Gideon: Hey, sorry about that.
Felix: No problem.
Gideon: Can I come back and finish this tomorrow? There’s somewhere I really need to go right now.
Felix: Now?
Gideon: Yes!
Felix: Well, yeah, that’s fine. Is everything okay?
Gideon: Everything’s great. I’ll see you tomorrow.
*Gideon rushes off*
Felix: ???
Felix: What is he really up to…?
Felix: Oh.
Felix: It’s about time. *smiles*

Forgive my lame attempt at lyrics, I just wanted it to rhyme and mention the word "green" somehow. In my mind Gideon can write much better lyrics then that. :P
Anyway...yay! And there more with them in the next chapter...whenever I get that up. XD
