Bidding on the Winter Tan Lami turned out pretty much as expected. I got outbid and couldn't keep up. Actually, I was keeping up fairly well for a while but then somebody bid $1000! :O Yeah...not going to happen. My high bid was about $850 and that was pushing it for me. I have the money saved up but it's about how much I want to spend in the end. Not that much.
On top of that I never did hear back from the Winter Tan Coco seller either. At this point even if she did contact me again I'd be really hesitant to do business with her, given her crappy communication skills. I mean, even if she decided to sell it to someone else or not sell at all she could have had the decency to let me know instead of just ignoring me.
So it's back to square one for me. I'm trying not to feel disappointed, after all it's just a doll. But if I'm honest I have to admit I haven't felt this discouraged about doll collecting in a long time...or ever. :(
I'll keep trying but I can't get into bidding wars with anyone to find these dolls, I just can't win if it comes to that. But it's in the buyer's best interest to take bids, they can get the most amount of money that way. *sigh* But of course, the Winter Tans are the ones I want. Figures.
*end pity party*
On a happier note, here's a bonus photo that makes me smile. I need that right now:
It's Ivy and Gideon and their first kiss. <3
