I have no interest in my dolls lately. I'm not worried about this because when I contemplated selling a few I realized really quick that there's no way I could sell any of my current collection. So I can only assume I just need a bit of a break and the dolly love will return in time. It happens, but it's one reason I'm being a little quiet ( Read more... )

I feel kinda bad because I haven't done anything online with my dolls in ages, but I've just been so busy with work and stuff...:/ But I still love my dollies. I'm hoping I can do something with them in the future, but I can totally relate to needing a little break.

I love my dollies, too! It's not so bad to need or to take a break from it though. ;)

It might just be that how you interact with them has changed. You did make a very large change last year when you stopped the HoP stories, even though you still tell bits and pieces as and when you feel it. That you don't want to sell them has to be a good thing in that respect! :) Why not just let your imagination wander for a while, and focus on what you're really wanting to focus on. you'll come back to it when you're ready.

I still don't regret ending the story though, it was just turning into a chore that was too much work. XD I do feel a little dry on photo ideas, every time I think of something I usually realize I've done it before and then lose interest in doing a photo shoot. Taking a break isn't bad, I've been doing other stuff...and that's okay. ;)

I felt that way last semester. I brought my dolls with school with me, but I didn't even bring clothing changes for any of them. And for the last 3 or 4 weeks of school, my dolls were all boxed up and I think I didn't look at them but once or twice. But now that I'm out of school (and it's nice enough outside that I can take pictures again!) I'm really starting to get back into the whole doll thing. I mean, I just took pictures of a doll I hadn't taken pictures of for almost a year and a half! Sheesh ( ... )

I'm alright with taking a little break. If I get any ideas I'll do them, but I'm not going to stress about it if I can't think of anything. :P

It is great that dolls don't get their feeling hurt if you stay away for a while. ;)

I fixed it, but it was annoying to find. When I complained to the seller she seems irritated that I even brought it up, but to her credit she did refund me a few dollars.
