Every time I used to try and eat at the diner near me alone, the lady would always come up to me and talk. I was even holding a book when she did it x.x

When I lived in Maryland, I loved going to the sushi/hibachi place by myself. I would go, sit at the sushi bar and chat with the chefs or watch the goofy game shows on TV. It was very relaxing - I also never minded going to movies by myself pre-spouse. :) If you can't enjoy your own company, think of what you're putting other people through, right? ;)
