i thought knowing how she died would give me closeure
but it has instead opened up the wounds again, and almost made it worse
because how the fuck do you not recognize pneumonia?? even after she died.. i mean... even if they' couldn't've saved her.. you think you could've figured it out..

I'm into death diagnostics (yeah, I'm a fucking loser) and when pneumonia is the cause of death for someone that young and healthy, it's usually that a DIFFERENT problem caused susceptability to the Pneumonia. Normal kids do not die of pneumonia just because. It's the coroner's classic "I don't know but I really don't want you to worry about this anymore" excuse.
My Grandpa, for example died of "pneumonia" on his death certificate, like many old people, but it was really cancer...just that he died as a DIRECT result of his immune system not being able to handle the cancer, not the effects of his tumors.
This whole thing is so sketchy, it must be terrible to have to deal with *hugs.* I keep hearing all the drama at First Presbyterian and it's just like...gah...=(
