In what book/series/world is there a kidnap marriage-where if the man kidnaps a women and holds her for a certain amount of time they're married? It's been nagging at me all day; I keep thinking the answer's right there, but it doesn't quite come up.

i dont know, but common law in most states is that if a man and a woman cohabitate for over 10 years or something like that they're legally considered married. I think it's 10. It might be less. now that's bothering me.

Yeah, I know that, but that's not what I'm thinking of. It's in some fantasy world, and I can't think which one.
