I think that the too-full car thing was fun. I feel like I should buy you a pack of gum though, I will leave it, a piece of bubble yum, wrapped, strategically placed on your floor. Hopefully it will make up for your horrible gum out of the mouth incident.

that describes, so perfectly, second semester. everyone realizes they're not going to see those comfortingly familiar faces possibly ever again so they decide to try to befriend them in order to make some kind of lasting relationship.
i can't remember the last time i hung out with my real friends, or my original ones anyway, for an extended period of time.
