Why, September 11, 2001 of course. I still remember that day as if it were yesterday.

Haha I was listening to the radio, too! Otherwise I wouldn't have known. I miss listening to the radio in the morning while I get dressed... But uni doesn't have a school uniform ahaha! And then I went to school and we all watched the news on TV. I thought it was a joke when the DJs were talking about it because they're jokey like that.

I know. Didn't help that 98.7FM is a pop station and that the DJs are always mucking around. Took the TV to convince me that it wasn't a horrible joke. D:

Oh, I remember quite a few memorable days. My mom shrieking "Eisenhower LIED to us! Eisenhower LIED to us!" during the U-2 incident. John F. Kennedy's assassination--walking peacefully home for lunch and then racing back to school to tell my disbelieving classmates the news. Those are FAR better days to remember. It seems what most of my generation will consider memorable are 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and the global financial meltdown. Sigh.
