Shandra, actually. It was changed when I was two to "Shandra" for the Sanskrit goddess of the moon. (Well, my father named me after a Hindi girl he had a crush on, but *she* was named after the moon goddess. :D) Heh. Incidentally, I remembered that your name was Sheena from being on the Hpchan ML with you. Bizarre, but I always think of you as Sheena. Heh.
With a name like pesha I always imagined that was really your name! Shandra is a very beautiful name -- you share it with a close RL friend of mine. :)
And I do remember you from hpchan back on yahoo! I remember nearly everyone who was a regular poster/commenter from that community (and there were over 800 of us!) because it was truly my first intro to fandom. It makes me smile that you know me as Sheena instead of Needle. I like it.
Heh. Incidentally, Peshalyne is my middle name. So, you're almost right.
I remember that list being my first experience with the "life is not fair" concept. I mean, I remember coming home from class to the nightmare of having SEVEN of my lists -where I spoke at great length with many good friends- had been deleted in some rabid "housekeeping" at Yahoo. It was a bizarre experience. That's for certain.
Indeed. :-) That was half of my parents' reason for picking it; my brother is Joel Mark! The other half is related: they knew that they wanted to move back to Israel (where they met and married), and both Esther and Joel sound relatively similar in English and Hebrew.
