Beware! Tony-centric rambling, ravings, swoonings and squeeings behind the cut, along with 27 poorly cut and coloured caps!
tejas, I swear I'm totally re-writing as well. I just got distracted by Tony's nose and hair. Again. ;-)

Love your completely Tony-centric take on the episode. :-) You liked it more than I did, but you hit almost *all* the things I *did* like about it. ;-)
Great caps, btw. :-)

You thought it was Tony-centric? Huh. ;-P I really enjoyed it, possibly more so because I wasn't sure whether I would - there weren't that many spoilers around to read before, and I'm usually very wary of holiday episodes in case they're too gimmicky. But I got hot, competent Tony. I thought the level of silliness/to-the-job-ness was just about right. And the subtext levels were good, I thought!
Thanks - I actually have no clue what I'm doing in Paint Shop Pro, I just like to pretend! I think the fact that they're caps of Tony's face lets me get away with many mistakes.

If anyone does happen to mention my lack of ability to colour without making the episode looks like it was set in the 70s, I'll just direct them towards Tony’s nose bump or wrists.

Ew, that's gross, not really - but a bib would be a good investment! ;-)

I'm definitely going to go back and re-watch the episode in that way we've talked about, where I start paying attention to things that aren't just about Tony's face/voice/awesomeness. Was it the plot that you found a bit jarring, or like, the way they switched scenes? I would say that I think they're trying quite hard, this season, to make sure viewers know that this is a character-driven show, if that makes sense. Like, they've got all these new viewers, and a lot of the articles on the show's sudden massive popularity increase focus on the character interaction, so they're focusing on that a lot, then the plot, rather than letting the interaction develop naturally from the plot. Thing is, the show's never been broken, maybe only a little faulty in parts, and so it doesn't need fixing or even enhancing from the earlier seasons.
Length is totally encouraged! Never apologise for length, it's one of my rules! ;-) ( ... )

1. I think that having itchy feet is probably more likely but I can't resist the rescued by Gibbs idea. One of the first fics I read was Rictus and it's hard to go back after that. It is about time we got more about Tony. We get a lot episodes that are centered around him but nothing about his past and considering how big a fans the writers are about character's pasts it's about time we got his ( ... )

Why do you hate DP btw? *is confused*

DP as in Dorothy Perkins? I just dislike it - I think I have the wrong shape for their clothes, my legs are far too short and my bum is too small and it's just one of those shops that I always go into thinking I'll find something nice and simple, but never seem to. It's actually my fault, not the shop's, but I enjoy whining and moaning! Are you a staffer, or heir to the empire? If so, I'm very sorry - I do enjoy the student discount when I do find something! :-)

I did quite like the ep - it wasn't all about Ziva which helped loads. Still wondering what's going on with Gibbs though *sadface*; I'm loving more Tony & competent!Tony to boot but I'd still like to see the bossman thank you very much. Loved McGee & his geeky knowledge of angles & trajectories when TP'ing a house *pets*
Hah! I wish I was heir to the empire *g*. Whining & moaning is indeed a most enjoyable pastime, one of my favourites in fact (after drooling over cute!Tony pics) :-) See, I would have no clothes without DP as the rest of the high street is seemingly made for thin people and i am not. DP jeans are about the only ones I can find that fit me. Next on the other hand make sizes that are insane.
