I love you, Elspeth. I have noticed the thing that when you're cooking things don't smell near as good as on the receptive end. It might have something to do with teh fact that you now know how much freakin' effort and time goes into that smell.

Speaking of cleaning, my room needs some tidying up too. And it wouldn't hurt to tidy up Azarath's cage...*looks to it* That can wait until after I feed him. On my day off...I hate work...Anyway, now I'm ramingling on your comment space.

And, of course, the obsessive hovering over the stove means that the sense of smell adjusts too quickly. But it did taste mighty fine with the chicken!

I can relate with the hate of cleaning. But there's that crazy satisfaction thingy when you actually create something. w00t! You might have to send me those recipes for me to try out.
