My water bottle tastes like cranberry lip balm and makes me want to gag, but I refuse to part with it until the end of my working day because I don't want to go to the effort of washing my glass at the end of the day for just 2.5 hours' worth of water. -

Chris: John just asked what NCIS is *giggles* Should I tell him?

Chris: *laughs* No! That was exactly what I thought, but no, nothing to do with the show. So should I tell him what it is?

I love Christmas!!
I feel like the Christmas season has started now! Last week was the David Jones VIP shopping night, last night was the Myer and Elizabeth Arden VIP night. I spent practically all of yesterday out of the office, buying a gift from the staff for our manager and lollies for our lolly bags for the Christmas party on Saturday. Well, my weekend started off well ... I went to Mt Ommaney (shopping centre) on Saturday morning and got some Christmas shopping done - presents for other people AND presents for me! A quick update
So, my planning on having a quiet couple of weeks seems to be working out rather well. I went to Brooke's last night, but because we're both completely pov we had a quiet night at home with home-cooked tacos and Singstar, laughing ourselves silly as we tried (unsuccessfully) to hit the high notes. I'm so broke lately! I don't feel TOO bad about this, because a) I just got back from Hong Kong and b) more importantly, everyone else in the entire world seems to be broke at this time of year! It's been a hectic couple of weeks, and as a result I've been slack about updating!
After Hong Kong, we had one day of "normal" life before my sister, her partner and a friend arrived. I hadn't met the partner or friend before, so that was good, and we had a lovely weekend getting to know each other. We all went to Movie World together on Saturday ( Read more... )
