lol! At my office they thought I was Brazilian since in my resume it appears I was born there (lived there until I was 5yrs old and I don´t speak portuguese). So when I went for the interview I also got compliments for my spanish (WTF!) and also had to tell my little story.
A month later one of my bosses comes by to tell me they hired another Brazilian, I was confused for a few seconds and then I remembered they still regarded me as “the Brazilian”. When "the other brazilian" arrived it turned out he also had a perfect spanish and didn’t speak portuguese, and to make it even more complicated the man is half japanese... so yeah, citizen of the world, where you from? Planet earth, you?
