I can't remember the last time I was this excited about an election, except for maybe when Gore ran. I voted for her husband twice, but I just can't find it to support her. She kept coming up with excuses why Obama won the last few primaries/caucuses, and now she's going to have to do more than shake up her campaign staff.
I don't like her. Any politics aside - I don't like HER. If it ultimately ends up being the two of them together on the ticket, I guess it'd be okay. It certainly wouldn't stop me from voting for Obama.
And she doesn't seem like a gracious taker of second place. That's REALLY grating on me.
I think the other main reason I'm not a fan of her is there's been the same two families in charge for the past 19 years.... nearly 30 if you count his time as VP. I think it's time to move on.
Apparently she didn't congratulate Obama in her concession speech last night. You stay classy, Hill!
It's looking like he might lose Ohio, but yesterday he won every demographic so it's going to be a tight race in Texas. Unfortunately for Clinton, she's going to have to win both by large margins to claim that she's still viable and I don't think that's going to happen. It seems the tide is turning, and I think it was telling that at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner (full of DNC party leaders mixed with folks like us), she got O-BA-MA'd off the stage by the crowd.
