I was literally just thinking about you. :)

Anything by Kim Wilkins is worth reading (she does supernatural thrillers / gothic thrillers / historical supernatural thrillers / etc) or Kimberley Freeman (same writer; it's a pen name for her romance novels).

For crime, Jeff Lindsay, Kathy Reichs, Jesse Kellerman, Tara Moss.

Kim Wilkins is my fav. She's a local here (originally from London), and teaches at my uni.

Jeff Lindsay would be my next favourite.

I read mostly crime, so here are some suggestions: Kathy Reichs, James Patterson, Agatha Christie.

You should read "Are Men Necessary?" by Maureen Dowd. It's the right mix of girly and sarcastic and smart. Plus it's short chapters which should be a plus when you're interrupted by phones ringing.
