getting fired sucks. specially when it is your first time. i completely understand where you are coming from. it's not easy getting fired but the best you can do is have your time of greif/hurt/cry/sadness/what ever else you are feeling...and then hold your head up high and continue foward, pushing through the obstacles. This road of life is just full of obstacles and it's just a matter of finding the right car that can traverse this road.

I'm with Dragoon811. Even if the tax thing doesn't work out, there's other things. I think you should continue applying for accounting/secretarial things like you've been doing, especially federal jobs that come with benefits. It's more 'you' anyway.

And I keep forgetting to tell you... don't forget to apply for unemployment. It's something, in the meantime.

I don't know. Maybe you thought I'd freak out about it, but I'm not. I'm not worried at all. There's no knot or pit in my stomach about it. Honestly, it's mostly relief, for you. RadioShack was going to hell.
