Great post Pei Pei.

Sadly and honestly I must say laziness is my passion, and I pursue it with a ruthless vigor. :P Laziness also intervenes with other passions of mine. I can be passionate about something but not really pursue it to the extent that I perhaps should, due to laziness, I suppose. But to each their own, I say.

totally. i just wish people could i guess "get real". its such a pain in the ass to listen them talk about what they think other people want to hear. not what they want to say. oy.

Good point about being passionate. That was the reason I volunteered- not because it looked good on college apps, although that turned out to be a nice bonus, but because it made me feel good. It made me feel like I wasn't useless. When my mom got cancer sophomore year, that's when I started volunteering, because I was tired of not being able to make a difference in the world around me. And that's what kept me going at it- not the whole college deal, but because I felt good about myself when I volunteered. I miss it now, I've been thinking of finding a volunteering club on campus because I don't feel like I'm giving back to people enough. I miss that good feeling. Good for you for doing something because you love it- in the end, that will benefit you the most because you will be happy with yourself, and that is the most important thing.

:) I hope you find yourself a great volunteer group out there. its always fun to give back no matter where you are. hope your having a great time in college :D
