Ain't that the truth? I haven't trusted them for years. This just drove one last nail in the coffin. I thought I recognized that guy's name from somewhere. He was the one that turned the blind eye to Hussein's regime so CNN could stay there! He should been fired then! What, he didn't deem that as NEWSWORTHY?

I hear ya! I used to flip over to CNN & MSNBC just to "check in" kind of, to be sure I wasn't only getting the "one side", ya know? Well, I found in my little research, that Fox gives it all to me. The good, the bad and the ugly of both sides. I think their news coverage is very, VERY fair. Hell, even the Democrats in the Kerry Campaign said Carl Cameron was very fair to Kerry. If THEY had no complaints, I don't see why others would. I get plenty of the "other side" on Fox because they're so fair in giving everybody face time.

It's encouraging to see a bit of self-regulation in the media. It's gotten rather ridiculous lately, but misrepresenting the facts has a longer history than most people realize. It's high time the news organizations try to re-institute some integrity. This is a step in the right direction. A small step, however.

I think FoxNews is going to keep the other organizations on their toes. And that's not a bad thing at all.

Maybe between Fox and all these bloggers the MSM will finally get a clue that their days are numbered. They are being caught left and right in their bias. That Media Research Group (I think that's the name of it) does a really good job pinging them, too. Neal Boortz has their column up a couple of times a week sometimes on his blog. The head guy is an older red-headed guy named Brent Something-or-Other)

I just want the truth - good, bad or indifferent. That's the only way people can make up their minds and make decisions. When all you get is one side of the story I think your decision-making process gets all warped. That's why I like Fox so much :)

Thanks! I finally got around to getting a paid account. And I'm kind of re-designing my whole journal. I got a bee background I like (finally!) and a SLEW of different bee icons. I'm having a ball. That's what I'm doing right now. It's almost 4am and I can't tear myself away. Once I get on a roll, forget it! :) It's nothing fancy, but I like it so far. As soon as I make a banner for it, I'm going friends only. That will probably be a couple of days from now.

Did you ever check out that community "carpet_sharks" about the ferrets? It looked kind of cute and somewhat helpful. I don't know anything about ferrets, but I thought you may enjoy it :)
