but i mean for a kid who is autistic; they have meds to help them remain calm in situations that typically put autistic kids into sensory overload...isn't that okay? not so sure about the benedryl either, but if it's prescribed by the doctor? Its no different than giving someone who is very, very afraid of needles or blood; a very small dose of valium before getting surgery or getting their wisdom teeth out...they do that all the time, if needed ( ... )
