xkcd, the Mars Rover, and Doctor Who
So, on Friday, xkcd had this strip:
You've probably seen people linking to it, because this was a very sad comic. The poor Mars Rover! Something just strikes a chord and makes me want to take the Mars Rover home with me and pet it and tell it that it did a good job. The sense of loneliness and the very human aching for validation . . . *sniff*
But, if you're into Doctor Who, we have a lovely fix! The Doctor makes it all better! Go and read, because it will make you squee with happiness. (It might even make sense if you're not familiar with the show.)
