'Here' appears to be a magical hotel that we can't leave, at least not until we ontain a certain number of 'credits' through either taking lessons or working for the hotel. It's possible to communicate through your thoughts, and equally possible to control them; it is also impossible to lie, though from what I hear that should be temporary. Not that I'm putting my faith in that.

I have been waiting here for a fortnight, Richard. Where have you been?
