moths and butterflies

I realized that my son had been naming different species of moths and butterflies from a book for like 10 solid minutes. He's only 4 and can't read but somehow knows by looking at pictures the names of all these different types of moths and butterflies. I know about "monarch butterflies" and that's it. Haha yeah. I don't post regularly at all, obviously.
For some reason I like the idea of using this thing that is not popular any more. Kind of like listening to vinyl or driving a Pinto, which are things I also do.

And it's fun to see if any other old-timers might drop in.
It's cool to hear from you! Funny how those "early 2000s" seem like forever ago!

I like it too. I'm glad I never deleted my two journals, even though they're pretty embarassing. I've lost a lot of old paper journals over the years, so it's nice to be able to look back on this website, even with all the horrible grammar and melodrama that I pasted all over it. And yeah, it all seems like a lifetime ago. :) you won't believe this but I still remember Snoopy5. Is that still you? Also, I still have my (sp?) shirt :)
