I agree! We put too much focus on being a specific size and shape, and sometimes that just doesn't work! I have very broad shoulders, and even when I was still slender, I couldn't fit into any top smaller than a (US) 12 or 14, even if i could wear an 8 in pants. I am shaped like a giant carrot, and there is nothing that will change me into the celery stalk that most people seem to have glommed onto as the way they should look.
Variety is the spice of life, and I am perfectly content being gigner carrot. :)
You are so right on that. I think my ideal body size would be at the smallest, a 12, but more likely a 14. And I do have big hips and shoulders, so I couldn't ever fit smaller than that! I wouldn't trade my hourglass shape for being straight-up-and-down at all!
I've been thinking a lot lately of all the overweight and obese people around here (of which I am one, albeit one of the smaller ones). Why can't people SEE that it's not healthy to have more chin than face? Or that fat rolls on your legs are not a good thing?

Besides, you're just going to have to cope with being gorgeous the way you are.
