Sewing books on the way!

Half.com is a beautiful thing. I visited three different stores yesterday looking for a specific book about sewing with stretchy knit fabrics. Not one store had it. My library didn't even have access to it through its' library cooperative network. So, I went to half.com and bought it really cheap! For a new book

How awesome! I used to go to half.com for everything (college textbooks especially!), but they started going downhill and I stopped visiting the site. Sounds like I should give it another try! =D

Oh yeah. For certain items, I love it! I am a fiend about buying second-hand christmas music from Half.com. I bought my parents a huge stack of music to listen to at christmas. I got Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers for 75 cents each.

I have also found a lot of exercise DVDs super cheap. And all of them were new in their wrappers. Most of them under $5, and some were less than $1. But of course, if you are looking for something specific, chances are they won't have it.

Cute homemade friends....put annie down for as many as you want too make....she loves her babies and her pets! have fun!!!!

I have a few in mind for her. And a handbag to put them into. Might not be til Christmas with the amount of free time I have to work on them, but they shoud be cute.
