Actually, the communication isn't always different. Conor has had some sudden and massive asthma attacks without saying boo about whether he's feeling all right. He sometimes coughs and looks tired, and that's all the warning I get that he's going into severe respiratory distress and needs a doctor NOW.

However, I can call an ambulance or haul the kid into any ER and someone will fix it. That makes a BIG difference.

How's Lucy doing now?

Poor Lucy! I'm so sorry to hear this. I can only imagine how much this scared you and Rome. I hope she gets better :( Please give her kisses and hugs from me!
