On Sensation

So, I was working with bleach the other day, in a fairly un-diluted form, and I wasn't wearing gloves for most of the time I was working with it. As a result, I slightly damaged my fingertips, removing, I think, a thin layer of skin and exposing more sensitive skin to the air. That's so deep it's almost profound. It's so weird being back at Uni without you here to make these kinds of observations. But I guess that being elsewhere and being able to make these kinds of observations kinda makes up for it. You better keep us posted!

Also what is the most interesting/unexpected thing that you've touched while your fingers are all sensitive?

Probably.. more bleach. Or at least, the sponge soaked in more bleach. Because it hurt, and because it was all.. soft but strangely hard and hole-y.

Mmmm, chemically enhanced states of perception. I've kind of fallen out of all that, but it was cool while it lasted. Wait'll you discover synesthesia.
