So, um, I've been in Dublin for about two weeks now, almost a full week on my own. Life in Halls (the residence) is a bit more drunken than I'd expected, but I suppose that has more to do with the amount that the Irish drink in general than anything else. I love how you're already slipping into the culture and referring to the guys down the hall as lads.

In terms of instant messaging, I recommend Miranda which allows you to run MSN and AIM (among others) all in one client, and it may not be blocked by the fire wall.
