Did you ever read Kitchen Confidential? Anthony makes kitchen work sound amazing in it. Drug-abusingly, tatooed-pirate-beingly amazing. Oh, and his description of drunk Japanese businessmen is fantastic.

i haven't read any of his books yet. i just saw his tv show for the first time a couple nights ago and have been obsessively watching reruns at 2am ever since. soooo in love.
