I am such a sap... I have been crying my way through this chapter. At first, I was so worried they might break up, even for a little while (yeah I don't do well with anything resembling angst atm) that I started tearing up, but then they talked and fixed things and suddenly I was crying because everything was so lovely and Chris and Zach were so cute. <33

Hehe, I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that! I had in my mind that Chris would wear the ring on his right hand until the actual wedding and then switch it to his left hand. One of my friends has been doing that since he and his bf got engaged (they're currently waiting for same-sex marriages to be re-legalized in California), which I think is kind of sweet since men don't usually have an engagement ring in addition to a wedding ring. But I'm glad you caught that because I didn't give an explanation for it later on and this gives me the chance to clear it up. So thanks for noticing!

Oh that's so cute! When I was in NYC last I saw a guy on the subway with a white gold and diamond engagement ring on his left hand, first time I have ever seen one on any guy except my brother

It was somehow endearing and sad at the same time to think that Chris stayed on his side of the bed every night. The space that Zach should’ve been occupying remained untouched and was a physical reminder of his absence.

“This isn’t the last time. I don’t want to lose you like this,” Zach whispered against Chris’ jaw.

Oh, my heart! (Even though I knew it'd be alright.)

“Asshole! I was going to ask you! I made reservations for next weekend at your favorite restaurant!” Chris said, bouncing on the couch.

This made me laugh! Can't wait to read the epilogue! So, uh... I guess I'll go read it right now!
