Wow. This fic is bringing back so many memories for me, heh. And I am laughing SO hard but feeling SO sorry for Zach at the same time...When Chris sent him the phone number I, uh. Might have got a little wet in the eyes. Just a little. And then Zach CALLED and my face did this: :D

Two of my favourite exchanges:

Chris: oh shit.
Chris: motherfucking shit fuckballs. I kissed some dude from my poetry class.
Zach: what else do you remember?
Chris: like, nothing
Zach: are you freaking out?

Do you remember when everyone used ICQ? It used to be so frustrating when someone would type and then backspace and I'd be like, NUU WHAT WERE YOU GOING TO SAY??

Writing this was partly reliving some of my childhood, so I'm glad you're getting a blast from the past too!

Oooh, I really love how you change their interactions as they move from childhood into their teens and college age, wonderfully fitting. Man. So happy when Chris express-delivered his phone no. FY! Then the IM convos, Chris kissing a boy, Zach's suggestion they whore themselves for cash... haha! *rushes off to next part*

gawd I remember ICQ, I totally *hated* that program -- every time I sat down to cruise teh Net I got paged for fucking chat sessions, rrrrrgh!!

Sorry for the much delayed thanks for your comment! ICQ was such an annoying program! I remember when you had to have an AOL account to use AIM. So glad they changed that.
