I totally stayed up very very late last night (for the first time this week!) because I got side-tracked watching Akihabara@DEEP, a show about otaku and such. I'm not an otaku, but it's still a hilarious show, the music is fantastic, and it's just very well done overall. Check it out if you're bored ( Read more... )

Wish list:

• TV. Not necessarily fancy or big...... well, okay, maybe sort of fancy. Not too big.
• Extra monitor. Hopefully one that matches my current monitor, although it looks like that will be difficult.
• Wii. Plus Super Paper Mario, SSX Blur, and assorted other games.

There are some hair pics up here. Enjoy. The camera doesn't really capture the real color because it automatically adjusts white balance... so essentially, it dims the red down a bit. I tried to compensate in the last two... but not really successfully, I think. Oh well, you get the general idea.

I went to Judy Jetson today and got my hair cut and dyed. The cut is fantastic.. it's a little less adventurous than it could have been, but it's still great. Shoulder length, layered at the bottom for extra fullness, and angled at the front to my chin. Tax day. The one, the only, the unavoidable. Not only is it raining (and therefore muddy and otherwise depressing), but also there is only one employee working at the MIT branch of the post office. Feeling a bit more stable now. Talked to a prof, she's really nice, hopefully everything will be ok. Trying to sleep more, although past few days that hasn't really happened. Back in Cambridge now. This morning, finished packing and submitted my NDSEG fellowship application. Flew in this afternoon, after my flight being delayed a lot (actually cancellation + delay). The flight was so turbulent that there was no drink service, and I was all congested, so my ears hurt a lot... so much that they even continue to hurt ( Read more... )
