[ Chane is on her way back from the store, after buying some sparing rations and a rather formidable-looking kitchen knife to replace the common one she'd been carrying around. Of course, the knife is tucked neatly into the apron she's been wearing around so as not to arouse suspicion.

of course, she's forced to question what counts as 'suspicious' in this town when she sees some... thing in the driveway of the house she was supposedly living, to her ssurprise. What it was doing or what it could be, she could not guess, but she immediately went on guard, drawing out her new weapon and approaching it slowly from behind. ]

First inclination is to wait until the stalking organic is on top of him and then whirl around and let him/her have it with the shock arm! ...but that probably wouldn't be a good idea. So just swivels around normally and raises the weapons hatch.

[ she takes a startled step backwards when the little creature whirrs and beeps at her. It is obviously some kind of machine, but what kind...? Never before had she seen anything like it; not even her father had made something like this. That boy Naoki had said he was from far in the future ... perhaps that crazy explanation was the best one she had. ]

[ it had opened something, but she isn't sure what it is. At the very least, she doesn't see any type of gun on it. Slowly, Chane reaches out with the knife to tap the top of the robot experimentally. ]
