so all previous whining in the last post aside, I've got plenty to be excited about. We are now officially under contract for the house we intend to buy, so barring anything catastrophic, that jawn will be OURS after inspections and closing and what-not. WOO!!!!

So I knew upon booking it it was a possibility, but odds seemed in my favor. The 2008 Drum Corps International World Championships, originally scheduled to be the inaugural event in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, will be held in Memorial Stadium on IU's campus in Bloomington due to Lucas Oil not being done in time. The references that the guys calling the NCAA Dunk contest missed are some what astounding to me. Granted, it's a pair of older white guys, but I'd think that pretty much any Gen Xer/millennial should have caught this.
