So Riley has mono, and I'm so happy I could cry.

Seriously. When the doctor told me, I picked him up and hugged him and said, "YAY! You have mono!"

The other thing they thought he might have was Kawasaki Disease, which can have potentially fatal effects on the heart.

So, hooray for mono!

Kawasaki Disease does sound cooler though...just the name. It sounds like a super-speedy Karate Kid disease. Okay, it's probably something terrible that I shouldn't joke about. GAH! I suck. *lame*
