is it funny that i find it a little entertaining that i'm from the most dangerous city in the US....St. Louis....

i dunno.....mayb it's cuz i live there and it doesn't seem that bad to me....or mayb it cuz all my friends live in the city....i dunno...i just find it kinda funny.

Yeah, pretty crazy, eh? I think that all of those statistics are misleading... I remember that our statistics for number of rapes went way down, only to find out that lots of REPORTS of rapes were not LISTED as such... they were ignored, or re-classified to avoid high numbers in crime in that area. Same thing with some other crimes. Surely, some other cities must be doing the same thing. Plus, sometimes statistics for "St. Louis" include the county, and sometimes they only include the city. And I think that happens for other towns, too

i love it here!!! um for Boston U. specifically, it has a lot of different groups of people. it is the second largest private university in the country so there are a ton of people here. it takes a while to adjust but once you get situated boston is a great place to go to school. there's always something going on on campus and in the city.

um a friend told me the film programme here is really good. there is a study abroad program in LA where the sudent gets a job as a production assistant. she also said the school allows for a lot of opportunities for film majors.

and yes armir and i had lunch a couple of weeks ago. he seems to really like it here and we've run into each other a couple times since then.
